Thanks to the generous support from our partners who helped us successfully complete the capital stage of this initiative, approximately 1,400 new mothers a year can now deliver their babies in a welcoming, state-of-the-art facility close to home.

Willowbrook Master Plan

What started as a single effort to deliver high-quality healthcare by creating a new hospital is now a large effort to inspire health and wellness throughout the whole community. The Willowbrook MLK Wellness Community master plan uses our new MLKCH as the catalyst to bring not only new healthcare facilities and services to South Los Angeles, but also new:

  • Food resources
  • Walkways and bike paths
  • Events
