The grant will help expand the Martin Luther King, Jr. Hospital’s inpatient services, meeting more community needs.
The ‘Sharing Hope’ ceremony marked the hospital’s first naming dedication, an occasion inspired by a $2.8 million anonymous gift.
Aiming to improve lives and boost community access to early diagnosis and treatment, the gift creates a dedicated CT Suite and names the Hope Emergency Center.
“The physician gap in this community is the next mountain we must move,” says MLKCH CEO Dr. Elaine Batchlor.
Consider what it means for the community, and for our hospital, when there are just not enough doctors.
