On May 23, 2016, Dr. Batchlor was awarded CEO of the Year by the LABJ at the annual Women's Summit for her commitment to improving the health of South LA. Her award was shared with Judy Olian, dean of UCLA Anderson School of Management. Both women topped a category that included nominees Shonda Rhimes, producer of television shows “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Private Practice,” and “Scandal,” and Jessica Alba, founder of The Honest Company.
